Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray

If you want beach waves I have two words for you: Magnesium Sulfate. It's what gives to dry, wavy, curls, so any beach spray containing water and magnesium sulfate will give you that perfect beach hair we all love. My personal favorite: the Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray because of its soft coconut fragrance.

Use beach spray moderately because it tends to dry out hair.

Summer Must-Have: Baby Lips Lib Balm

I always keep Chapstick with me. All year long. Lately, I probably have 10 Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 from Fresh lip balms all in different shades and sizes. I keep one in every bag, two on my night stand, and one in my makeup drawer. It's pretty crazy. The truth is, they're over-rated. The mini ones break in half constantly, and the bigger ones get very messy. To make things worse: they melt. So in other words, they're not made for the summer. Instead, there's Baby Lips from Maybelline. It's light, its refreshing, and does not require a big amount in order to work. A simple sweep across the lips is enough to relieve and repair any dryness. The fragrances are also lovely and very soft. It comes in 11 different shades, but because I'm a fan of what's discreet, my favorites are the "Quenched" and the "Twinkle".

The reason I call it the summer must-have? It's an SPF 20 lip balm, and it doesn't melt.

24/7 Glide on Eyeliner

Having extremely pale skin, I have to be cautious when applying eyeliner, since it makes everyone seem a little paler. After years of experimenting, I finally settled with a technique I call: the Invisible Liner.
What I do, is I apply it on my top waterline. It contours your eye, makes them pop out, and allows your eyelashes to seem fuller. The best part? No one notices you're wearing any makeup! The problem is, as most of you may know, when you apply eyeliner on the waterline, you're lucky if it lasts more than one hour before creating artificial dark circles around your eyes. I went through five pencil eyeliners hoping to find one that wouldn't make me look like a raccoon, before finding the 24/7 Glide on Eyeliner from Urban Decay. It's waterproof so when applied on the waterline it lasts all day, but it's still extremely easy to remove (I would recommend a makeup remover with oil. It might be a little harder to remove with an oil-free one, even if the remover is made for waterproof makeup). The best part is its easy to glide tip can give the effect of pencil liner, but also of liquid liner– all you have to do is sharpen!

There is a wide selection of colors: 32 shades to be exact.

Goody Shower Comb

My hair is every style. It’s curly during the summer, wavy in the fall, straight during winter, and unpredictable during the spring. It all depends on the humidity, so my hair products are constantly changing; but all year long one thing stays the same– my goody shower comb. It works for every hair type and helps detangle as well as style hair: whether it’s wet or dry. I prefer using it when my hair is wet. Yes, it’s not recommended do brush your hair when it’s wet, but this comb does absolutely no harm to well nourished hair, due to the wide space between each tooth. Everyone should have it.

Dove Deep Moisture Shower Gel

Unless you’re retired, famous, or wake up at 4am every day, you don’t have time after your shower to wait for your moisturizer to dry. How many times have I been too impatient, slipped on my extra skinny jeggings, and walked out the door feeling as though my legs had just been coated with five layers of super glue? Less than all the times I’ve walked out the door without any lotion at all.
That’s right. For about a year I moisturized at the most once a week. I ended up with skin so dry no amount of lotion could fix it – all because I didn’t have the time to apply it and let it dry. (Spray-on moisturizers said to dry quicker do exist, but you end up breathing in a lot of unhealthy chemicals. It isn’t worth it.)
Then Dove Deep Moisture Body Wash came along. It completely changed my life– or should I say, skin. I haven’t had dry skin ever since I’ve started using it. The body wash leaves your skin smooth, clean, moisturized, and smelling like that signature dove smell I can never have enough of. It’s also a GREAT face wash. Your routine just got shorter. I recommend it to all.

Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub

Walking into a Lush store for me is torture. For those of you who don't know what Lush is, it's basically the slumber party we always dreamed of having as a little girl. Face masks, bath bombs, soaps, scrubs, makeup, and much much more. It's all handmade and uses natural and safe synthetic ingredients. The reason I call it torture? The scents. They're great and everything but I can smell their store from a mile away. I still haven't found one cosmetic store who's scents smelled this strong. Going into there is a one way ticket to getting a migraine. I leave the store feeling nauseous, exhausted, and dizzy.

But I still find myself going to it once every one or two months because of one product I can’t live without: the Rub Rub Rub Shower Scrub. It is the best exfoliator that I’ve ever used. It’s made with mineral rich sea salt that leaves your skin clean and smooth without irritating it. Its tropical scent of mimosa is surprisingly not that strong and even if it were, the outcome would definitely be worth it. I would recommend using it once a week. It can also occasionally be used as a shampoo, to remove any product residue.
